2 arrested after firefight

Two suspects allegedly involved in dozens of street crimes were arrested in injured condition following an alleged shootout with police in the jurisdiction of Ratta Amral police station. According to a police spokesperson, the incident occurred during routine snap-checking when officers signalled two individuals on a motorcycle to stop.

Instead, the suspects opened fire and HC Irfan sustained with two bullets in the chest, he said.
