Miley Cyrus has “no interest” in repairing her strained relationship with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, despite growing concerns about his well-being, sources tell Page Six.
The pop star reportedly hasn’t been close to the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer “for a long time.” However, Miley found his recent performance at President Trump’s post-inauguration Liberty Ball “concerning,” according to insiders.
The disheveled-looking 63-year-old country star stumbled through his set, later blaming faulty equipment. His son, Trace Cyrus, addressed the incident in an emotional Instagram post, calling on Billy Ray to seek help.
“You’re not healthy, Dad, and everyone is noticing it,” Trace wrote. He revealed he’s been sober for over a year and a half, adding, “This message comes from a place of love and fear that the world may lose you far too soon.”
Sources say Trace and his siblings, excluding Braison Cyrus, agreed on the post before it went public. However, conflicting reports claim the family is “pissed” at Trace, insisting Billy Ray is “sober” and in a “good place” with Miley and Noah Cyrus.
Noah reportedly remains deeply concerned, loving her father “unconditionally” and wanting “the best for him.”
This isn’t the first sign of division within the Cyrus family. Billy Ray has faced criticism from his children before, though details of their disagreements remain private.
