The highly anticipated Suits LA is almost here, introducing Stephen Amell as Ted Black, a charismatic and cocky attorney.
The new NBC spinoff follows Ted, a former New York federal prosecutor who now represents high-profile clients in Los Angeles.
According to the official synopsis, Ted’s firm is facing a crisis, forcing him to embrace the role he once despised. As his team grapples with professional and personal conflicts, long-buried secrets about Ted’s past resurface, threatening to unravel everything.
The first trailer offers a glimpse of Ted’s bold approach, as he tells a skeptical potential client, “I’m the best attorney in the country.” Meanwhile, his colleagues Rick Dodsen (Bryan Greenberg) and Erica Rollins (Lex Scott Davis) navigate power struggles, with Erica quipping, “We’ll see about that, Ricky.”
The trailer also teases Ted Black’s connection to Suits icon Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), featuring a throwback photo of the two characters. Ted acknowledges their history, saying, “The only person I knew cockier than me.” Macht, reprising his role for three episodes, previously hinted at Harvey’s return, sharing an Instagram post of his signature “H.S.” embroidered shirt and Harvey-branded shoes.
Amell shared his excitement for the crossover in a recent Entertainment Weekly interview, noting, “We came up together in the D.A.’s office. I’d love for fans to see that dynamic.”
Suits LA brings back the iconic Greenback Boogie theme song and premieres soon on NBC, promising sharp legal drama and compelling character arcs.
