The much-anticipated prize bond draws for Rs1,500 and Rs100 denominations are just around the corner. The National Savings Division in Karachi recently announced the results of the Rs750 prize bond draw for January 2025.

The 101st draw of the Rs750 denomination took place on January 15 at the State Bank of Pakistan, Banking Services Corporation (Bank), Karachi. The event was presided over by Mr Javaid Shaikh, former Joint Director of National Savings in Karachi.

According to the official announcement, the first prize of Rs1,500,000 was awarded to the holder of bond number 271541. Three second prizes, each worth Rs500,000, were claimed by the holders of bond numbers 317904, 496553, and 800663.

The National Savings Division also shared details of the upcoming prize bond draws. The next draw, scheduled for February 17, will include Rs1,500 and Rs100 bonds to be held in Multan and Rawalpindi, respectively.

As per government policy, the tax on prize winnings is 15% of the prize value for tax filers and 30% for non-filers. Bondholders eagerly anticipating the next draw will need to wait until February, as excitement builds for the upcoming announcements.
