HBO has officially renewed its hit series The White Lotus for a fourth season, with production set to begin in 2026.

This announcement comes just ahead of the premiere of Season 3 on February 16, 2025. The third season, which is set in Thailand, will continue the show’s signature formula of exploring the dark side of luxury vacations, as groups of privileged tourists clash with hotel staff in a beautiful but morally complicated setting.

While details about the upcoming season are still scarce, it is unknown where Season 4 will take place or which, if any, cast members will return. Creator and showrunner Mike White has already pitched ideas to HBO's Casey Bloys, signaling that the series is moving forward with new plans and fresh stories.

The White Lotus has been a critical success, winning 15 Emmy Awards across its first two seasons. Its first season, set in Hawaii, was awarded Outstanding Limited Series, while the second season earned recognition in the drama categories. Season 3 will feature Natasha Rothwell’s return as Belinda Lindsey, while other new stars, including Parker Posey, Walton Goggins, and Jason Isaacs, will join the ensemble cast.

The series has become known for its ensemble casts, mysterious deaths, and darkly comedic exploration of privilege. Fans of the show can expect The White Lotus to continue its legacy of sharp social commentary when Season 3 drops in February 2025.
