Chrisean Rock calls out Blueface’s mom Karlissa Saffold over 'clout chasing' at King of Crabs

The drama between Chrisean Rock and Karlissa Saffold, Blueface’s mother, has reignited, this time stemming from the reopening of Blueface's seafood restaurant, King of Crabs. 

Over the weekend, tensions surfaced after Karlissa attended the event and went live on Instagram, prompting Chrisean to accuse her of clout chasing.

Both Chrisean and Karlissa were present at the private dinner celebrating the restaurant’s reopening. They live-streamed separately, with Chrisean dining with a friend and Karlissa seated at a larger table. Chrisean took issue with Karlissa recording her, stating, "We just didn’t like the recording part," while her friend added, "just didn’t like the clout chasing."

The strained relationship between the two has roots in past comments made by Karlissa regarding Chrisean and Blueface potentially getting married. Addressing her son's ultimatum about maintaining a respectful relationship, Karlissa shared, "My son told me to respect his position in order to have a relationship with him, and I promise y’all I’m going to do my best to try."

Chrisean, while seemingly acknowledging the familial ties, expressed frustration with Karlissa, saying, "I get it — we all related in a way, but keep it cordial," and criticized her for allegedly taking credit for the restaurant's reopening. Karlissa responded, attributing the success to divine intervention: "God was the real reason why the restaurant was back up and running. But obviously, there was no child of God there."

Adding to the tension, Karlissa claimed Blueface’s grandmother alleged that Chrisean wanted to "stomp her out." She threatened to involve probation authorities if the threats persisted, saying she was taken aback by the negativity.
