The angiography report of 77-year-old Ashraf Tai, the founder of martial arts in Pakistan, who is being treated at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), shows that his heart has been damaged due to a heart attack. Both of his kidneys had already failed.
Professor Tahir Saghir, Executive Director of NICVD, told The Express Tribune that Ashraf Tai was brought to the hospital with complaints of shortness of breath, where his angiography was performed. The report confirmed that a part of his heart has been damaged. However, his condition is now stable, and he has been provided with medication. He is expected to be discharged from the hospital within a day or two.
It is worth noting that Grand Master Ashraf Tai, who received the Presidential Award for his outstanding services to martial arts, moved to Pakistan from Myanmar (formerly Burma) in 1970.
