Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F. Kennedy, sparked controversy by questioning whether Vice President JD Vance’s wife, Usha Vance, was “hotter” than his grandmother, Jackie Kennedy.
“True or false: Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O?” Schlossberg asked his followers on X during President Trump’s inauguration ceremony Monday.
A user responded, suggesting Usha was “a little hotter than Jackie,” saying, “I think we can both agree that they are two *very* foxy ladies, am I right Jack, my man???”
“Really appreciate this take thanks Sam,” Schlossberg replied.
In a follow-up tweet, the 32-year-old writer confessed he was a “literal pervert,” writing, “I called my grandmother hot … have I totally lost it? Jesus … this kid will do anything for attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. Seriously. Time to get a job.”
The remarks left fans concerned, with several urging him to “seek help.”
“Gonna be honest man, I think most people don’t do hotness rankers involving their grandmas,” one user commented. Another criticized, “literally your grandmother.”
“it’s not too late to delete this,” another advised, while one user accused him of being “desperate for engagement.”
“you consider your grandma a ‘hottie’?” yet another questioned.
Jack Schlossberg is the son of Caroline Kennedy, a politician, and Edwin Schlossberg, a designer, married since 1986.
He is the only grandson of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, now 64, and the late JFK, who was assassinated in 1963 at age 43.
Last July, Jack was named Vogue’s political correspondent to cover the 2024 presidential election between now-President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
