Lahore police have arrested two individuals, including a Nigerian national, and seized illegal substances worth millions of rupees, in a crackdown against drug dealers.
The Mustafaabad police continued their operation against drug trafficking, arresting the Nigerian suspect and another individual. Authorities recovered 1,800 grams of ice and one kilogram of hashish from their possession.
According to police, the Nigerian suspect, identified as Jeff, had been residing in Pakistan for the past 16 years and had settled here, even marrying in the country.
It was revealed that he had been running an underground drug network, supplying narcotics to various locations, including educational institutions and farmhouses across Lahore and other parts of Punjab.
Police further disclosed that the suspect was apprehended through a combination of professional skills and public relations efforts. Legal cases have been filed against the arrested individuals, and investigations are ongoing.
