Karachi's weather is expected to remain dry and cool over the next 24 hours, with light fog forecasted for Wednesday morning.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) recorded a minimum temperature of 12.5°C on Tuesday and anticipates the mercury to drop between 11 and 13°C during the next 24 hours.
Winds from the northeast are expected, and humidity levels are at 52%. A cold wave is predicted to impact Karachi and other parts of Sindh starting January 24, with temperatures potentially reaching single digits by month-end.
The cold westerly winds could bring rainfall across the country and snowfall in higher elevations.
On Sunday morning, the minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded at 10.2°C, showing a drop of 4.3°C from the previous day.
Meanwhile, Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 12 hours.
However, rain with snow over hills is likely in Northwest Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 12 hours.
Light to moderate fog in patches is likely to persist in most districts of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning/night hours.

According to weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and cold weather is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula, while cloudy weather with chances of light rain and snow in Leh.
