The scenic tourist destination of Shogran in the Kaghan Valley has been further enhanced by recent snowfall, with up to one foot of snow blanketing the area after a prolonged dry spell.

The snowfall has rejuvenated the valley's charm, attracting a steady stream of tourists eager to enjoy the picturesque snowy landscapes.

For the first time, the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) has ensured that Shogran Road remains accessible even for small vehicles, facilitating tourist access.

Visitors can be seen flocking to the valley, revelling in the beauty of the snow-covered surroundings. In Naran and nearby areas, up to three feet of snowfall has been recorded, significantly intensifying the cold.

The long-awaited snowfall has brought renewed vibrancy to Kaghan Valley, drawing tourists to its stunning winter scenery.

KDA official Moazzam Khan stated that comprehensive measures have been implemented to provide maximum facilities to tourists in Shogran.

Staff have been deployed, machinery is on standby, and a dedicated helpline has been set up for any emergencies. Tourists facing difficulties can contact the helpline at 1422 for assistance.
