Robert Pattinson and South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon Ho attended the press conference for their latest release, Mickey 17, on January 20, at CGV Yongsan in Seoul, South Korea.

The Twilight actor, 38, and Okja director, 55, added energy to the red carpet by performing cute poses, known as aegyo in Korean.

Pattinson's attempt at making a finger heart led fans to affectionately call him a "pookie," with some humorously commenting "A for effort" due to his adorable but unpolished gesture.

Mickey 17, based on Edward Ashton's novel, tells the story of a non-essential employee, Mickey Barnes, who volunteers as an "expendable" employee who is regenerated after death with most memories intact, as he's sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim.

A new teaser for the film was released recently, following the official trailer that debuted four months ago.

On January 20, 2025, South Korean media reported that Robert Pattinson would appear on South Korean reality show Running Man.

However, a Running Man representative clarified that Pattinson would not be an official guest, explaining that he made a brief appearance after passing by the filming location. The episode featuring this moment will air on February 9, 2025.

Mickey 17 is set to release on March 7 in theatres across the U.S.
