First flight lands at Gwadar airport today

The New Gwadar International Airport, covering 4,300 acres, is Pakistan's largest airport.

KARACHI:

Gwadar International Airport is going to be functional from Monday (today) as a flight from Karachi is set to land on the runway of the airport.

The first-ever flight PK-503 will receive water salute as soon as it touches the ground of the Gwadar International Airport. Minister for Defence and Aviation Khawaja Asif is likely to receive the passengers of the first flight.

The airport will enhance Pakistan's connectivity, offering additional access to the UAE, Europe, Far East, Central Asia and Africa.
