The employees of Civil Hospital Makli staged a protest against the non-payment of their salaries for the past seven months. The Joint Action Committee of the hospital's employees condemned the NGO managing the hospital for failing to provide better healthcare facilities and withholding employees' wages.
Protestors chanted slogans against the NGO and criticised the mismanagement of the hospital. Leaders of the Joint Action Committee, including Anwar Jakharu, Mahmood Bhambro, and Liyakat Abasi, addressed the protestors, demanding immediate payment of salaries. They warned that the protest would escalate if their demands were not met. The protesters lamented that the NGO's mismanagement had led to poor healthcare facilities.
