Industrialisation in Balochistan 'top priority'

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has said that industrialisation of the province was his government's top agenda and all problems faced by the sector would be resolved on a priority basis.

A delegation of Hub industrialists, led by President of the Chambers of Commerce Ismail Sattar, called on the Chief Minister in Hub and apprised him of the problems and development needs faced by the Hub Industrial area.

Announcing immediate steps to resolve these problems, the CM ordered that water supply to the Hub Industrial Estate be ensured and that the district administration take adequate measures for security.

He said that Hub was the industrial centre of Balochistan and its development was the government's top priority.

Pledging full cooperation to industrialists, he said every possible step would be taken to provide a conducive environment in the industrial zones and that a comprehensive policy was being implemented to ensure active and stable Hub industrial activity.

He also said President Asif Ali Zardari was deeply interested in the promotion of industrialization in Balochistan.
