Korean investors invited to tap SME potential
Pakistan's burgeoning small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector offers immense potential for investors, presenting a wealth of opportunities for growth and collaboration, said Chairman Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT), Muntaha Ashraf, according to a press statement released on Friday.
Ashraf extended an invitation to South Korean investors to explore these prospects during a key meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Pakistan, Park Kijun.
The high-level discussions revolved around unlocking new business opportunities and enhancing bilateral trade ties, particularly in transformative sectors like information technology, automotive, and healthcare. Ashraf highlighted the untapped potential within Pakistan's SME sector, emphasising its viability as a catalyst for mutual economic growth.
"We are committed to providing South Korean investors with a favourable business environment, ensuring they see Pakistan as a land full of opportunities," he stated.
The dialogue underscored the importance of fostering bilateral partnerships through delegations, which serve as platforms to share experiences and build trust.
