'Extortionist' held
Ghulam Muhammadabad police has registered a case against unknown suspects who demanded ransom of one million rupees from a banned organisation.
According to the police report, the case filed by Javed Iqbal, son of Rashid Ahmed, a resident of Mohalla Weaver Colony, has stated that an unknown person wearing a chador threw a threatening letter on the night of January 16, on which it was written that he was a mujahideen of a banned organization, ISIS, and they needed five million rupees to buy weapons.
One must pay the ransom of Rs1 or else their family will be taken away. It is also written that put the money in a bag and keep it behind the tree of Qari Daryan Wale, otherwise twenty people from their organization will come and take their family to the robbers of Kachha.
