Man held for allegedly raping elderly woman

Police claimed to have arrested a man accused of raping a 70-year-old woman in Mustafaabad area.

The suspect, who was disguised in a security guard's uniform, was apprehended by the operations wing during a targeted operation. Police revealed that the accused has a criminal record and was previously implicated in similar sexual assault cases.

The suspect, a habitual drug user addicted to crystal meth (ice), has confessed to the heinous crime during initial interrogation.

Police officials stated that the investigation is ongoing and efforts are being made to trace any accomplices or additional evidence linked to the case.
