Pakistani actor Faran Tahir is all set to reprise his role as Raza in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through the series Vision Quest, reported Deadline. Tahir last marked his appearance in the MCU with Iron Man (2008), in which he played the antagonist leader of the Ten Rings - long before the cinematic universe had been launched.

Not much is known about Tahir's involvement or the project at large, but his reprisal comes as a surprise for those who are aware of his character's fate in the 2008 film.

Vision Quest will serve as a spinoff show for the MCU's hit series WandaVision (2021), which starred Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany as Vision. With Wanda's story concluded, Vision will embark on a journey to rediscover his memories and empathy as a sentient machine after the traumatic events of the previous projects. Vision Quest has been under development since 2022 and won't hit the screens before 2026.

Tahir, in the meantime, awaits the release of his next project, The Martial Artist, which stars Shaz Khan in the leading role as an MMA fighter who reconnects with his roots in order to defeat the obstacles weighing him down. It is slated for a January 31 release.

Khan spoke more on the English-language Pakistani film in an interview with Vasay Chaudhry in December. "The thought for this story came ten years ago from a short film I did about a boxer. So I extended that and incorporated a part of Pakistan into it," he said. Teasing the plot, he added, "Since he's a martial artist, he wants to be the best in the world. That's his dream. But some stuff happens to him, which sends him on the wrong path, so he meets his Dada (paternal grandfather), who is played brilliantly by Faran Tahir."
