Texas heiress Madelaine Brockway announces pregnancy as husband faces charges after $59M wedding

Madelaine Brockway, known for her $59M Parisian wedding, is expecting her first child amid husband's felony charges.

The Texas heiress who gained viral attention for her extravagant $59 million Parisian wedding is now expecting her first child with her husband, Jacob LaGrone, who is currently facing felony charges related to allegedly shooting at three police officers.

Madelaine Brockway revealed the exciting news on Instagram, showcasing a lavish cake at her recent gender reveal celebration in Paris.

"18 weeks with our bean," she wrote, tagging her husband Jacob LaGrone.

Brockway, who is the heir to several Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Florida, enjoyed a pink slice of cake, celebrating the news of her baby girl, as seen in photos from the event.

However, her husband is embroiled in a legal battle. He faces felony charges for aggravated assault against a public servant following a police shooting incident in March 2023.

The incident occurred when police were called to the couple’s $1.4 million home in Tarrant County, Texas, after multiple reports of a disturbance, according to the Daily Mail.

The altercation between the couple reportedly spilled into the driveway before Brockway fled to her parents' house.

Madelaine’s father, Bob Brockway, later called police for a wellness check on LaGrone at the couple's residence.

When police arrived, LaGrone allegedly shot at three officers from inside the garage.

He was arrested, but later released on a $20,000 bond.

In August 2023, LaGrone was indicted on charges of intentionally threatening bodily harm and using a deadly weapon (a firearm) during the assault.

Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, the couple got married shortly after the indictment.

The wedding took place in the Château de Villette, located 25 miles northwest of Paris, followed by an extravagant reception at the Paris Opera House.

Maroon 5 performed during the couple’s first dance and later held a private concert just for them.

The wedding also featured an overnight stay at the Palace of Versailles.

Images from the lavish event went viral, turning Brockway into an internet sensation.

Her viral fame, however, was short-lived as her husband returned to the U.S. for a pre-trial court appearance just two weeks after their wedding.

At his court appearance, LaGrone stood with his head down, without his wife by his side, in the Tarrant County District Court.
