Actress Sofia Vergara and F1 champion Lewis Hamilton spark dating rumours after lunch date in N.Y.C.

Modern Family star, Sofia Vergara and F1 champion Lewis Hamilton had the internet buzzing with questions of a romance brewing after the two were spotted seating next to each other during lunch with friends in New York.

According to observers that reported to TMZ, the pair were so deeply focused on the conversation between them that Sofia barely ate her food. The conversation carried outside as the two appeared to be all smiles before the actress left in a black SUV.

This latest rumour with 40-year old Hamilton has brought 52-year old Vergara's history of dating men younger men into the spotlight. She has prevviously been married to Joe Mangianello, 48 and engaged to Nick Loeb, 49.

Hamilton, meanwhile, was in a past relationship with Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Sherzinger til the couple split in 2015. Since then he has been associated with Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Rihanna among other big names in Hollywood.

Vergara spoke to Access Hollywood at the recent Golden Globes and mentioned that her goals for the new year involved, money, health and "a boyfriend - or a lover maybe".
