Bushra Bibi, the wife of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, on Tuesday expressed her disillusionment with the legal system, saying that her "faith in the law has been lost".
She made the remarks while appearing before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad for a hearing concerning the Rangers accident case.
Addressing Judge Tahir Abbas Supra, who presided over the hearing, Bushra remarked: "After what happened to the PTI founder Imran Khan and me, my faith in the law has been lost."
Earlier during the hearing, after granting interim bail to Bushra, Judge Supra remarked, "It has taken some time, but legal procedures have been fulfilled."
Bushra replied, "No,
it is not a problem, [but] our trust in the courts
has been lost."
