Adopted daughter married to victim's biological son

The case of a father allegedly being tied up and burned alive in Gujranwala has taken an unexpected turn, revealing shocking new details.

The investigation has uncovered that the adopted daughter of the victim was married to his biological son and is currently pregnant.

The incident occurred on January 7 in the Mughal Chowk area of Civil Lines, where Akbar Ali was reportedly tied up and set on fire by his biological daughter, Aman and adopted daughter, Yashfa, with alleged involvement from his two wives, Saira and Nazia.

Police have arrested all four women for questioning.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the victim had married his adopted daughter, Yashfa, to one of his sons, and she is now pregnant.

Following this revelation, police formally arrested the two daughters and conducted preliminary medical examinations. DNA samples of the victim, his son, and the two daughters have been sent to forensic experts for analysis, and the results are awaited to establish further facts.

According to the investigative team, it became evident during questioning that the victim's third wife, Nazia, played no role in the crime and was released. However, suspicions remain regarding his second wife, Saira, who has been sent to jail along with the two daughters.

Station House Officer (SHO) Usman Warraich of Civil Lines Police Station stated that the case is being meticulously reviewed under the direct supervision of the City Police Officer (CPO).

"No innocent person will be punished, nor will any guilty individual escape justice," he assured.

Forensic reports and initial medical findings will clarify the circumstances of the murder, after which the police will file a charge sheet.
