Gang of dacoits busted

RAWALPINDI:

Police have busted a dacoit, street criminal and bike lifting gang by arresting three accused and recovered nine stolen motorcycles, Rs6,000 in cash, weapons and other items from their possession.

According to a spokesperson, Bani police arrested three suspects namely Balaj, Taimoor and Ethesham, members of a dacoit, street criminal and bike lifting gang and recovered nine stolen motorcycles, Rs6,000 in cash, weapons and other items from their possession.

A case has been registered against the accused while further investigation is under process. Police are making efforts to net other members of the gang, the spokesperson added.

Meanwhile, Attock police in an operation against illegal weapons arrested four outlaws and recovered illegal weapons from their possessions. The spokesperson said Fateh Jang police arrested accused, Husnain Ahmed and recovered a 30-bore pistol.
