Physical remand of accused cop extended

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Peshawar has extended the physical remand of the cop accused of facilitating the suicide attack at the Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines by a day.

After the physical remand of the accused Muhammad Wali was completed yesterday, he was produced before Judge Wali Muhammad Khan of the ATC. Meanwhile, the investigating officer of the Peshawar Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) told the court that the accused Muhammad Wali was accused of facilitating the suicide bomber in the police lines blast and had been arrested by police from the BRT station.

According to the CTD Police, there were allegations against the accused of having links with a banned terrorist organization.
