Talks to proceed as per Imran's guidelines

The wife and sister of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan have dissociated themselves from the talks process between the party's negotiating committee and the federal government, it is learnt.

A PTI source told The Express Tribune that the PTI founder had clearly instructed the party's negotiation committee to contact and negotiate with the government committee according to his guidelines.

The source said that PTI founder's wife Bushra Bibi and his sister Aleema Khan were in contact with the negotiation committee and had been giving their suggestions. This put the committee in a difficult situation as to whom they should follow.

However, the committee has now been told to proceed with the negotiations on the PTI founder's guidelines. After that, Bibi and Khan have become almost indifferent to the negotiation issues. As per the source, both the women, however, would be kept informed about the negotiations.
