MrBeast, the popular YouTuber, expressed frustration after a Reddit post about his recent video was removed from the r/YouTube subreddit. The video, titled "I Helped 2,000 People Walk Again," addressed the issue of amputees being unable to afford prosthetic legs due to insurance limitations. In the video, MrBeast shared his thoughts on how troubling it is that in a wealthy country like the U.S., people in need of prosthetics rely on YouTubers like him rather than the healthcare system.

On January 11, 2025, MrBeast tweeted, "It feels so disgusting that in a country with this much wealth, a f**ken YouTuber is their only option to get a prosthetic leg." This tweet followed his video release, where he highlighted the challenges many face due to inadequate insurance coverage for prosthetic limbs.

The issue gained traction when a Reddit user shared MrBeast’s tweet on r/YouTube, which quickly amassed over 70,000 upvotes. However, the post was removed by moderators, leading MrBeast to accuse them of censoring him. On Twitter, he wrote, “It’s such a shame that the mods on r/youtube will do anything to censor MrBeast unless it’s negative about me.”

In response to the situation, YouTube’s official support account, TeamYouTube, clarified that r/YouTube is a fan-run subreddit, not affiliated with the platform itself.
