KARACHI:

PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh has strongly criticised the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for its "misgovernance and exploitation of Sindh's resources" over the past 17 years.

"The PPP has deprived the people of even basic necessities while plundering Sindh's wealth. They've now gone as far as orchestrating the diversion of Sindh's water to satisfy their lust for power," he said while addressing a press conference on Sunday.

He praised the growing success of the awareness march from Hyderabad led by the "Save Sindhu River Movement", vowing to expose the PPP's actions to the public.

Highlighting Sindh's water crisis, Haleem accused the PPP of blocking the Indus River's flow, worsening an already dire situation. "The destruction of education, healthcare, and infrastructure wasn't enough; now they are actively robbing Sindh of its water. Despite allocating billions in the provincial budget, basic services remain out of reach for the people," he lamented.
