Khloe Kardashian slams Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass over budget cuts affecting fire response as deadly wildfires rage.

Khloe Kardashian has sharply criticized Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass amid the city's ongoing wildfire crisis.

The 40-year-old reality star took to Instagram to call Bass a "joke" after Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley admitted that significant budget cuts had negatively impacted the fire department's ability to handle the catastrophic wildfires.

Kardashian posted a clip of Crowley's emotional interview, expressing support for the fire chief's honesty. "Thank you for being honest," Kardashian wrote, praising Crowley for speaking the truth. She followed up with a direct message to Mayor Bass, labeling her a "joke."

The wildfires, including the massive Kenneth Fire, have forced many residents, including the Kardashian-Jenner family, to evacuate their homes in Calabasas and Hidden Hills. Although the mandatory evacuation orders have been lifted, it remains unclear whether the family has returned to their properties.

In addition to her comments about the mayor, Khloe Kardashian also voiced her outrage over the arrest of a suspect connected to the fire. Although the individual was later released without charges, Kardashian expressed disgust over the situation, calling the suspect a "sick motherf–ker."

Amid the crisis, Kris Jenner and the family partnered with Carousel Restaurant to provide meals for firefighters and first responders. Their efforts included sending hundreds of meals to those working tirelessly to contain the fires, which have already scorched over 35,000 acres and are projected to cause $150 billion in damages.
