In a video uploaded on her YouTube channel, Bushra Ansari imparted personal insights on societal issues while also shedding light on her personal life.

"There are those who learn to fight the state our country is in and those are unable to do so," she observed. "There are also issues with harassment from people who taunt you, blackmail you for money, and so forth. And if these things escalate, then the lives of your loved ones - especially the women - would be at stake. People are also distressed by these things, and if someone protests, they are beaten into silence."

Bushra believes that a misuse of power is at play in such situations, adding that a lack of education and exposure can lead to such injustices. She further acknowledges that justice is scarce at every level, citing Noor Mukadam's case and her father's struggle as an example among many other prominent cases of femicide.

"These are privileged people, educated people. They possess some semblance of strength yet they were not able to achieve the justice they were striving for. I, at least, haven't seen them reach the end of their battles," she noted. "The distribution of justice isn't quick."

She also cited a case that was seen to its awaited end, and wondered why the same can't be done for others as well. "There might be thousands of people out there who are exploiting innocents like this. Where does it end, and when?"

Moving on to a different note, the Tere Bin actor gushed over her time in Islamabad, despite confessing how chilly it is. "I have lived and worked here. I would even drop my kids to school so there are memories here as well, though they are a little painful. I faced a lot of troubles here for a few years," she revealed.

Adding that she never spoke about these difficulties before, she said, "Mothers do everything with a grief-stricken heart. They don't let their kids find out, so that they remain unworried no matter what. A lot could be happening and mothers would hide it like it's nothing. But the kids do find out, I have felt this."

Long after this period of sorrow, Bushra was able to find light at the end of the tunnel with her current husband. She shared that women consider her "daring" and a "role model" for the way she picked herself back up. Speaking about the societal taboo of looking down upon women who marry late in life, she urged, "View a human being as a human being. A woman is one too."
