Gold prices saw a significant increase today, both in the international and local markets. The price of gold in the global bullion market rose by $13 per ounce, bringing the new international price to $2,665.
Meanwhile, in local gold markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs1,300, reaching 278,300 rupees.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,114, reaching Rs238,597.
Despite the increase in gold prices, the price of silver remained unchanged in the country.
The price of silver per tola stayed steady at Rs3,350, while the price for 10 grams of silver remained at Rs2,872.08.
