Cheryl Tweedy is reportedly enduring a harrowing ordeal with a convicted killer stalking her during her time of grief following the tragic death of her ex-partner, Liam Payne.
Daniel Bannister allegedly became "fixated" on Cheryl and appeared at the Buckinghamshire mansion she shares with her seven-year-old son, Bear, just weeks after Liam’s funeral. Bannister, jailed in September for breaching a restraining order and banned from entering the area, was remanded after reportedly returning to her property on December 10. He awaits sentencing later this month.
This is not the first time Cheryl has faced such incidents. During her West End run in 2:22 A Ghost Story, she reportedly received disturbing notes at the theater, prompting increased security measures in March 2023.
Cheryl has been mourning the loss of Liam Payne, who tragically passed away in October after falling 45 feet from a hotel balcony in Argentina. Cheryl shared an emotional tribute, writing, “Liam was not only a pop star and celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend, and a father to our seven-year-old son.”
Liam’s cause of death was determined as "polytrauma," with ongoing investigations in both Argentina and the UK. Cheryl, who dated Payne from 2016 to 2018, was praised for her strength during a November TV appearance alongside her Girls Aloud bandmates.
