Celebrity homes threatened as Pacific Palisades wildfire forces evacuations
The Pacific Palisades wildfire has forced evacuations across Los Angeles, threatening celebrity homes in the affluent neighborhood. Among those affected are Eugene Levy, James Woods, Spencer Pratt, and Heidi Montag, who have fled as the fire approaches.
Eugene Levy, who has lived in Pacific Palisades since 2006, described the chaos of evacuating amid gridlocked traffic. “The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon,” the Schitt’s Creek star told the Los Angeles Times.
James Woods shared harrowing updates on X, posting photos of flames nearing his property. “We are safe and out,” the Casino actor wrote, praising first responders. “Sadly, houses on our little street are not.”

Reality stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag were less fortunate, losing their home to the fast-moving blaze. Sources reported that their Pacific Palisades house “burned to the ground,” though the couple and their family evacuated safely. Montag and Pratt are said to be “devastated” by the loss.
Actor Steve Guttenberg took an active role during the evacuation, urging residents to leave keys in abandoned vehicles blocking fire truck access. “This is not a parking lot,” he told KTLA5. “We need people to move their cars so fire trucks can get up there.”
In addition to those already evacuated, other celebrities, including Ben Affleck, Miles Teller, Jhene Aiko, and NBA star Kawhi Leonard, own multimillion-dollar homes in the fire’s path. Their residences, along with thousands of others in the Pacific Palisades and Brentwood areas, remain at risk as the wildfire spreads.
Fueled by strong winds reaching 60 mph, the wildfire has consumed over 3,000 acres and prompted widespread evacuations. Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency, as the blaze remains uncontained.
