Ayeza Khan dispatches selfies from work to kids
Being an actor and a mother must undoubtedly come with challenges of its own. But the feat also has its fair share of endearing moments, as Ayeza Khan reminds us time and again. This time, on Instagram Stories, the Pyarey Afzal actor shared an adorable set of selfies that she'd sent to her kids while she was on set.
Giving her facial muscles a liberal stretch, Ayeza posed in a number of different ways. The expressions ranged from a wide-eyed scolding look to a tongue-out poke to the cheek, owing to her commitment to letting her inner child run free with her kids. Some precious smiles also entered the mix, giving us a sense of her unending fondness towards her little ones.
"The selfies I send to my kids while I'm shooting. The funniest part is, they want to know what I'm doing. They still don't fully understand my acting job since I go to the set with makeup on and come back in different clothes each time," she wrote.
"Like Hoorain [would be] asking, 'Where did you change your clothes?' or 'Who wiped off your makeup?' and 'How did you get hurt? Is this for real? What did you act [out] today? Can you show me the acting? Did you say, 'Pagal hain hum', today?'" Ayeza shared, citing an example.
"Both my kids ask so many questions that I [had] never even answered [to] my mom throughout my entire career," she hilariously revealed. Continuing in Roman Urdu, she added, "But they can ask whatever they wish or even suggest anything they want... these kids of ours!"
It is clear that Ayeza's childlike whimsy never runs out. In an older post, she posted snaps of her family at a farm abroad, which began with a selfie backdropped with a cartoonish structure of a dinosaur. "As my mom says, you're enjoying your childhood, not your children's. Strangely, I know better places in the UK than my cousins who live here!" she captioned.
