Post Malone brought holiday cheer to Houston this Christmas Eve by tipping a local bartender $20,000.
Renee Brown, who works at The Railyard near River Oaks, was stunned when the artist left the life-changing tip after a night filled with kindness and conversation.
The Grammy-nominated rapper, in town to perform with Beyoncé during the Houston Texans’ Christmas Day halftime show, spent the evening at the bar with fellow artist Shaboozey. Despite regular patrons covering his drinks, Post Malone insisted on being charged so he could tip generously.
"His generosity with this life-changing gift blew me away," said Brown, a single mother and homeschool teacher who works two jobs. Trey Melcher, owner of The Railyard, praised Malone’s gesture, noting, "You never know who’s going to walk through the door, but this act of kindness made our holiday season brighter."
The Railyard, popular for its proximity to luxury hotels like The Post Oak and St. Regis, is no stranger to celebrity visits, with David Spade and Kiefer Sutherland among past guests. However, Post Malone’s act of kindness stands out, leaving a lasting impression on the staff and patrons alike.
Brown shared her gratitude for the unexpected gift, saying it turned her Christmas into an unforgettable experience.
