Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, reportedly visited an expensive gun range in Thailand just months before the alleged murder.
According to two German tourists, Paul and Max, who traveled with Mangione through Asia, the incident occurred during his solo trip after fleeing the US early last year.
Instead of enjoying a beach day, Mangione chose to spend time at the gun range, the tourists told TMZ’s documentary 'Luigi Mangione: The Mind of a Killer.'
The pair also revealed that Mangione had an obsession with the book 'Hit Reverse: New Ideas From Old Books' by Indian author Jash Dholani, which explores various philosophical perspectives.
Mangione was so captivated by the book that he purchased 400 copies and traveled to Mumbai to meet Dholani and offer personal feedback.
The visit to the gun range occurred months before Mangione resurfaced in New York City and allegedly shot Thompson on December 4.
Mangione, a tech-savvy Ivy League graduate, had lost contact with his family during his Asia trip and was eventually reported missing.
He was apprehended in Pennsylvania after a five-day manhunt and pleaded not guilty to multiple charges related to the murder.
