ATC grants bail to 40 more PTI workers

ISLAMABAD:

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has granted bail to more PTI workers accused of resorting to violence and vandalism during the party's protest march between November 24 and November 26.

Islamabad ATC Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain on Saturday accepted the post-arrest bail applications of 40 party workers against surety bonds of Rs5,000 each and ordered their release.

Meanwhile, release orders for the 330 PTI activists whom the ATC granted bails a day earlier were sent to Adiala, Jhelum and Attack jails where these political workers have been detained for over one month.
