ISLAMABAD:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said that since the government of the founder of PTI Imran Khan was dissolved, terrorism has spread.

"This is a policy matter, and wrong policies give rise to things like terrorism. We will work together to combat terrorism in order to maintain peace and order in Pakistan," he said.

Speaking to the media after the Apex Committee meeting of the National Action Plan, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that it was an important gathering, and discussions were held regarding the law and order situation in the country.

"All provinces have resolved to work together to combat terrorism and will not tolerate it in this country." He added that this was the first meeting since November 26, and he presented his position. "We are a political party, and the people of this country have adopted certain attitudes, which we have reservations about. Pakistan is our priority, and we will combat terrorism together to restore peace and order in the country," he said Ali Amin Gandapur further stated that the army, FC, and security agencies are fighting against terrorism, with many young martyrs in the struggle. "We will go to the last limit to end terrorism and ensure peace."

Regarding Kurram, Ali Amin Gandapur said that the meeting discussed the situation in Kurram and Afghanistan in detail. "The government conducts negotiations, and if given the chance, we can involve the tribes and hold talks through a jirga. "The issue in Kurram is not terrorism, but a conflict between two groups. The Kurram issue has been ongoing for a century," Gandapur highlighted.

He expressed gratitude to all the members of the Grand Jirga who helped resolve matters there, and also acknowledged the important role played by local advisers. Regarding the Kurram issue, he pointed out that 99% of signatures have been obtained in the jirga, and the remaining signatures will be completed today.

"The entire Kurram issue is now resolved, and the routes will be opened soon to provide facilities to the people."

Ali Amin Gandapur stated that since the government of the founder of PTI was dissolved, terrorism has spread. This is a policy issue, and wrong policies give rise to terrorism. Their policy was wrong before and continues to be wrong.

"Both PDM One and PDM Two's policies are wrong. The responsibility for the border lies with the army and the federal government. As for the settled areas below, the responsibility is entirely mine, and I accept it." The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa further stated that when people cross the border, it is obvious that they will enter cities and carry out actions. 'The question arises, where are these people coming from, and how do they manage to enter?" he asked in conclusion.
