One of the last things Hania Aamir did in 2024 was to give a brief interview with CNN as she reflected on her incredible past year.

"I'm just so grateful for all the love I have received, to be honest," enthused Hania in the interview, which she also shared on her Instagram handle.

One of Pakistan's most followed celebrities on Instagram, Hania took 2024 by storm with her starring role as Sharjeena in the hit drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. Looking ahead, one of her upcoming projects includes a role in Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, Pakistan's first-ever Netflix show featuring an ensemble cast including Sanam Saeed, Fawad Khan, and Mahira Khan. Hania remained tight-lipped about the details but did share her joy at being involved in the venture.

"All I can say is that I'm really excited about it!" she shared. "I can't say much about it, but it's been an absolute honour to be working with people who've been working for over a decade who are so much more experienced and just lovely to work with!"

When asked how she feels about being the "face of Gen Z" in Pakistan, Hania brushed it off by reminding viewers that she doesn't "take a lot of pressure."

"I just try and be myself and whatever comes my way I try to do it with as much honesty as I can," she insisted.

As for cross-border collaborations with India, Hania exuded positivity. "We're like distant cousins," she said. "We're just so similar in so many ways – it's absolutely lovely that we can collaborate and are just so appreciative of each other."

To ring in 2025, Hania's message for fans in Pakistan and around the world was simple. "I wish them a lot of love, health and success, and I hope they lead the new year with a lot of authenticity and are just kind to themselves!" she finished.

An active force on social media, Hania shared the video on her Instagram handle and captioned it, "Reflecting on an incredible year filled with blessings and growth. Grateful to share my journey on CNN's NYE Live Special […] and to everyone who's been a part of this beautiful ride. Here's to more love, more lessons, and even more magic in 2025!"

Hania's post racked up over 156K likes in just over a day, with fellow stars Hareem Farooq and Mahira Khan amongst the commenters who congratulated her. "Super duper proud!" wrote Hareem, as Mahira similarly penned, "So, so proud!"
