Police apprehended a gang of four female pickpockets in a swift operation at a busy market of Mirpurkhas on Wednesday.
According to a report by police, the detained women are part of an inter-district gang involved in pickpocketing incidents in crowded areas of the city such as markets and bus stations.
On the orders of SSP Mirpurkhas, SHO of Town Police Station and Inspector Momal Laghari of the Women Police Station carried out the operation. The women were arrested from a shopping centre in Khasakpura, where they were caught red-handed pickpocketing a citizen named Shaukat.
