Travis Hunter has officially confirmed his decision to forgo his senior year at Colorado and enter the NFL Draft, marking a major step in his career.

The confirmation came after he signed with Young Money Sports Agency on Sunday. The agency, owned by rap legend Lil Wayne, is a lesser-known entity in the sports world but will now represent Hunter as its biggest client. They will manage his NFL on-field representation and playing contracts.

Hunter had reportedly received multiple offers from sports agencies, but ultimately chose Young Money. He is widely expected to be a top-three pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. However, some experts believe he could fall slightly outside the top three due to teams prioritizing quarterbacks. Regardless, Hunter is likely to be the first non-quarterback selected.

Along with his agreement with Young Money, Hunter will maintain his partnership with SMAC Entertainment, co-owned by Michael Strahan, which will handle his off-field representation. SMAC also played a key role in securing his Adidas endorsement deal. The agency also represents other members of the Colorado football program, including Shedeur, Shilo, and Deion Sanders.

Over the past two years, Hunter has impressed NFL scouts with his standout performances as both a wide receiver and cornerback. While he has expressed interest in continuing to play both positions at the professional level, most experts believe he is best suited to play wide receiver, which is expected to be his primary role in the NFL.
