The cold but cosy wedding season in this corner of the world is, more often than not, laden with festivities. Therefore, the pressure to bring your A-game to each event is high. And this time around, celebrity couples did not disappoint. Here are four pairs of lovebirds who aced the game this season.

Zara and Asad

If you're caught up on Zara Noor Abbas' spam highlighting her brother's wedding, you know that she and husband Asad Siddiqui are packing looks for days. Their best, however, has been the florid ensemble that screams couple goals. While Zara dazzled in a crush gharara and long kurti decked with red-flower embroidery, Asad incorporated a matching touch to his plain white shalwar kameez by draping around himself a botanical-themed shawl. The off-white hues tied the two outfits together in a show of romantic solidarity.

Speaking of which, the two took on a darker palette for a later event, giving a desi touch to Morticia and Gomez Addams with their all-black ensembles. While their family photoshoot captured a finely intimidating display of glamour, the two shared a heartfelt moment in the same attires. In a clip shared by Zara on Instagram Stories, Asad was captured adorably resting his head on her shoulder, possibly fatigued by the festivities. Undoubtedly, a power couple knows best how to sport gentle love.

Hira and Mani

Nothing lights up year-end festivities like a married couple whose love hasn't grown weary over the years. The novelty of Hira and Mani's love for each other never runs out and their lovey-dovey event poses prove that.

As Hira spun in her purple and gold-flecked lehenga, flowers holding her hair in a neat knot, Mani held her hand and watched her endearingly. Flowers seemed to be a common element to the wedding garb this year, as even Mani's regal rust-coloured coat was mottled with printed petals. Truly a royally evergreen duo.

Sheheryar and Maheen

Of course, who can turn their eyes away from the season's popular newlyweds? With an abundance of celebrations happening in their names, it should be unfathomable for Sheheryar Munawar and Maheen Siddiqui to look good each time. But believe it or not, they've been dressing to impress on every occasion.

The mehndi night saw Maheen in traditionally vibrant hues, which Sheheryar contrasted with the browns of his own attire. The Shabe Mosiqi greeted a reverse of the themes, with the groom adorning a lighter palette this time and the bride stunning in Hussain Rehar's multi-coloured lehenga sashed with a dominating dull green. The qawwali night, on the other hand, brought the two's outfits together in a complementing display of gold and blue. But matching attire or not, the recently married couple had heart-eyes for each other at every event.

Iqra and Yasir

While wedding bells were ringing all around, Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain revived the five-year-old promise of their love this season. As Yasir sported a white shalwar kameez, a sparkling sharara pooled down Iqra's figure. Taking to the beach, the two romantics were the only grand elements at the scenic photoshoot.

As they strode together in their recently shared Instagram photos, the star couple proved that a large gathering is only a secondary celebration of the union between two souls.
