A long-standing land dispute in Kahna turned violent on Saturday, leaving one man dead and two others injured after a heated argument escalated into gunfire.

The incident occurred in Jhalke village, where tensions flared between Aslam and Ejaz over a property dispute.

According to police, an argument between the two parties spiralled out of control, prompting Ejaz and his associates to open indiscriminate fire.

As a result, 30-year-old Khalid was killed on the spot, while Muhammad Mashooq and Muhammad Aslam sustained injuries. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
