Beyoncé’s NFL halftime show sparks internet debate over alleged satanic undertones
Beyoncé headlined the NFL Christmas Gameday halftime show on Netflix on December 25, 2024, in her hometown of Houston, Texas. During her performance, she sang tracks from her 2024 album Cowboy Carter, with visuals that included riding horseback while performing 16 Carriages.
The show quickly went viral due to claims of satanic imagery. Many users on X speculated that Beyoncé wore a medallion resembling devil horns and made hand gestures that appeared to mimic the devil horn sign during the performance.
"Beyoncé throwing them devil horns right in our face lmao," one user said.
"Wow Beyoncé just throwing out the devil horns during the half time show!" another commented.
"BEYONCE NOT EVEN TRYING TO HIDE IT SHE THREW UP DEVIL HORNS SMH," an X user mentioned.
"Crazy Beyonce performing Halftime at Ravens vs Texans wearing a devil horned medallion that says 'Cowboy Carter' on it while her husband is being questioned about Diddy.. . American theme just like Kendricks Superbowl commercial. 🧐" an internet user stated.
"Beyoncé throwing up them devil horns like always, smh get these devil worshippers off the screen," another said.
Some users also suggested the hand gestures and medallion were linked to the Illuminati or symbolic of promoting evil.
"Beyonce devil symbolism illuminati s**t. Oh we are so back," an X user tweeted.
"Promoting the devil on Jesus’s birthday is wild work…. Everybody saw those horns Beyoncé threw up…." another commented.
"Beyoncé with the Satanic horns during her ritual. They don't hide their s**t anymore. Post Malone looks sick. #NFL," another netizen wrote.
Ahead of the halftime show, Beyoncé posted a video on X on December 24, 2024, where she played Texas Hold 'Em on a banjo. The video slowly zoomed in on her face, and as she removed her glasses, a buffering sign appeared.
