Medical case in the United Arab Emirates, a woman has given birth to five babies simultaneously as the mother and all the newborns are reported to be in good health.

According to Emarat-al-youm, Dr Abdul Qader Al-Musaibi, the Medical Director of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, which is managed by the Pure Health Group in Abu Dhabi, explained that such a case is extremely rare, occurring once in every 45 to 60 million pregnancies.

He stated that although such births are generally high-risk, the delivery was completed successfully, and both the mother and the newborns are in good health.

Dr Mohiuddin Saud highlighted the unique nature of this case, noting that while multiple births are typically risky for the mother, this case was completely different. The delivery took place in the 25th week of pregnancy, which was premature, but the medical team was relieved that no major complications arose during the birth, he added.

Immediately after birth, the infants were placed in incubators for proper care. The hospital administration confirmed that the babies' weights ranged between 588 to 801 grams. After receiving necessary medical attention and stabilizing their health, the babies were handed over to their parents.
