Adin Ross, a prominent streamer and co-owner of Kick, has confirmed he will remain with the platform, ending weeks of speculation about a potential return to Twitch. The announcement, made on December 21, 2024, during Kick Talk, addressed rumors fueled by Ross’ cryptic social media posts and his break from regular streaming activity.

Ross expressed gratitude toward Kick CEO Ed Craven, stating, “Eddie, you’ve been nothing but so right to me as a partner in this.” He also reaffirmed his commitment to developing Brand Risk, his influencer boxing initiative, exclusively on Kick. “We’re going to do Brand Risk on Kick, 1 million percent, no matter what,” Ross declared, emphasizing plans to expand the project into larger venues and compete with established promotions like KSI’s and Ibai’s events.

As a co-owner, Ross views Brand Risk as a cornerstone of Kick’s growth strategy. The initiative has gained traction as a potential competitor to major influencer boxing brands, with Kick’s backing providing crucial support for its development and outreach.

Over the past two years, Kick, supported by Stake, has emerged as a challenger to Twitch, positioning Ross as one of its most influential figures. While his recent remarks about leaving Kick indefinitely sparked uncertainty, his renewed commitment underscores his dedication to the platform and its mission.

Ross’ decision not only cements his role as a key driver of Kick’s identity but also aligns with the platform’s strategy of fostering innovative projects. By supporting ventures like Brand Risk, Kick aims to enhance its appeal and expand its footprint in the competitive live-streaming space.
