‘New’ Appointments: Labourers oppose municipality hires

They said that they had been working as temporary employees for the past five years.

SUKKUR: The labour union of New Sukkur taluka protested against recent appointments in the municipal administration. The labourers chanted slogans against the administration in front of the taluka administrator’s office. They said that they had been working as temporary employees for the past five years. The administration had hired 102 more people instead of making their jobs permanent.
