Mohsin Abbas Haider took to Instagram recently to make a devastating announcement. "My father has passed away," his Instagram post read, accompanied by a prayer for the deceased. Unlike with his other posts, Mohsin added no caption to this simply-stated update.

Followers on Instagram echoed the prayer with sorrow in the comments section. While some expressed deep regrets in learning about the news, others attempted to offer consolation. "May Allah grant him forgiveness and elevate him to a high status in Jannat, Ameen. May Allah grant patience to you and your family," wished a user.

Industry peers, such as Ali Safina and Mohib Mirza, also offered a prayer for Mohsin's late father. "May his soul rest in peace," wrote Shagufta Ejaz. "So sorry to hear this, bro. May Allah grant him forgiveness and a high status in Jannat," wrote Rizwan Ali Jaffri. "So sorry to hear about it. May Allah bless his soul and give patience to you and your family," prayed Farhan Malhi.

On work front, Mohsin currently stars in drama serial Tauba, opposite Mikaal Zulfiqar and Momina Iqbal. His second recent IG post was of two behind-the-scenes captures from the show—shots of him and Momina in bride and groom ensembles, posting alongside their co-stars. "Shani weds Anmol," he wrote in the caption. "Stay tuned for what happens next."

Earlier, Mohsin drew attention for revealing that he blocks pages that promote trends he finds distasteful. Amidst this digital detox, the actor finds solace and clarity in his personal life. "I'm at a place of complete mental peace," he shared, "everything in my life is peaceful. I'm at a place in life where I'm ready to fall in love and enter in a relationship again, but I haven't found someone."
