The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has issued a notification regarding winter vacations for schools across the province, Express News reported.
According to the Elementary and Secondary Education Department, all private and public schools in plain areas will remain closed from December 22 to December 31.
For mountainous and extremely cold regions, schools will be shut from December 22 until February 28, 2025, ensuring safety during harsh weather conditions.
The notification applies to both government and private educational institutions. Parents are advised to follow the issued schedule for their children’s winter break.
Balochistan announces winter holidays for educational institutions
Balochistan's education department has announced the winter holidays for schools and colleges in the province.
According to the notification issued by the provincial education department last week, winter holidays have been divided into two categories based on the region's climate.
For cold regions, the winter break will be longer, running from December 16 to February 28, 2025. Meanwhile, in the warmer regions, the holidays will be shorter, scheduled from December 22 to December 31.
