Man arrested for indecent exposure in front of woman in Karachi

A disturbing incident of public indecency occurred in Karachi’s Surjani area when a man was filmed stripping naked in front of a passerby woman.

The video, which widely circulated on social media, sparked widespread condemnation from the public.

The incident took place around Street No. 1 in Yusuf Goth, where the man was seen making an obscene gesture while his friends cheered and filmed the act. The footage has drawn significant outrage, with many condemning the man’s behavior.

SSP West Tariq Elahi Masoi took notice of the incident and has directed authorities to take strict action against both the individual performing the indecent gesture and the one who filmed it.

Mastoi further stated that while no formal complaint has been filed at the Surjani police station, the police will investigate and address the issue, asserting that such acts are unacceptable in society. 

Later, police arrested the suspect and launched investigation into the incident.

In a similar incident last year, a viral video showed a man exposing himself to female university students on a van ride home, further highlighting concerns over public indecency.
